Steele Raymond LLP became a Limited Liability Partnership registered in England under Partnership Number OC311376 on 1st April 2005.
On 1st April 2011 Bournemouth-based law firm Steele Raymond LLP acquired the business of Richards & Morgan Solicitors LLP. All members of the existing Richards & Morgan team (including Alan Turle & Phillip Edkins) transferred to Steele Raymond LLP on 1st April save for Jim Salway who retired from the Richards & Morgan Partnership.
Existing services offered by Richards & Morgan Solicitors LLP will continue to be provided by Steele Raymond LLP together with a wider range of complementary and extended services.
Our clients include private and public companies, partnerships, housing associations, educational bodies, charities, insolvency practitioners and insurance companies. The practice also acts for clients based in Europe and the US.

The firm's growth since its formation has been organic, based largely on client and professional recommendations. The firm now comprises 13 partners and 50 other staff including 4 consultants.
As part of our commitment to providing a high-quality service, our Bournemouth office has obtained ISO 9001:2008 accreditation and believe we are the only major commercial law firm in Bournemouth to have achieved that standard for its full range of services.
In the past year, we have continued to enjoy sustained growth, particularly in our commercial departments. Our partners have given a number of lectures in commercial and education law and the firm has close links with Bournemouth University where we sponsor the Steele Raymond LLP Chair in business law, an annual student prize at the University and some student bursaries.
The firm's expertise in education law is recognised by the Law Society, which has made a number of education law client referrals to Steele Raymond LLP. Our private client work includes tax planning and trust advice, as well as wills and probate, all aspects of family law and personal injury.
