Position and specialisations
John Daniels has specialised in commercial property work since qualification as a solicitor in 1979. He has substantial experience in all types of commercial property transactions including acquisition, funding, development and disposal of commercial property and development land, acquisition and disposal of substantial freehold and leasehold property portfolios, all types of commercial landlord and tenant matters including acting for landlords of industrial, office, retail and leisure parks in connection with the grant, termination and surrender of leases, property management and funding issues and acting for multiple retailers and other substantial corporate occupiers in the acquisition of new and existing leasehold properties (including building agreements and new leases).

Education and career
He was educated at Mount St Mary's College and subsequently at Birmingham University from which he graduated in 1974 (LLB Hons). He qualified as a solicitor in 1979 and became a partner with Steele Raymond LLP in 1989.
