Position and Specialisation
Richard Smith is a Partner in the Private Client Department, who joined us in October 2010.  His areas of practice are; probate, will drafting, inheritance tax planning, Court of Protection , Lasting Powers of Attorney and the general running of trusts and estates.

Education and Career
Richard studied Law at Exeter University and qualified as a solicitor in 2004.  He is a qualified trust and estate practitioner (TEP) and is a member of both the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and the Private Client Section of the Law Society. He joined the firm in October 2010 as Senior Associate and became a Partner in April 2013.

Personal Information
Richard lives in Broadstone, with his main interests out of work being: rugby, golf, triathlon and generally keeping fit.
